• Managing general business correspondence: contact details and communications; based on Yukon Cloud’s legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.
• Providing contracted services and managing client relationships: contact and project information; based on performance of a contract.
• Securing the website and diagnosing technical problems: IP address, request information, and security logs; based on the legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and reliable website.
• Meeting legal, tax, and accounting requirements: relevant business and transaction records; based on compliance with legal obligations.
• Measuring website traffic and improving the website through Google Analytics: online identifiers, device information, page views, and interaction data; based on your consent.

Personal information will not be used for materially different purposes without appropriate notice and, where required, consent.

4. Required information

The name and email fields in the contact form are required so that Yukon Cloud can identify and respond to your enquiry. The message field is optional, although providing context may make it easier to answer you. If required information is not provided, Yukon Cloud may be unable to respond.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list and does not constitute consent to Google Analytics.

5. Google Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is used to produce statistics about website traffic, including which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the website, and how the website is used. These statistics help Yukon Cloud evaluate and improve its content, navigation, and performance.

Google Analytics is activated only after you consent to statistics cookies through the website’s consent banner. Refusing analytics cookies does not prevent you from accessing the website or using the contact form.

6. Who receives the information?

Yukon Cloud does not sell or rent personal information.

7. International transfers

Yukon Cloud is established in France and seeks to keep personal information within the European Economic Area whenever reasonably possible.

The use of Google Analytics or other technical providers may involve processing in or access from countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where required, transfers are based on an applicable European Commission adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer safeguard. Information processed in another country may also be subject to that country’s laws.

8. How long information is retained

• Contact enquiries and prospect correspondence: up to three years after the last meaningful contact, unless the information becomes part of a client relationship.
• Client and project correspondence: for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• Accounting records and invoices: for the period required by applicable French law.
• Technical and security logs: for the period necessary for security and troubleshooting, according to the hosting provider’s retention settings.
• Google Analytics user-level and event-level data: up to 14 months.
• Google Analytics cookies: up to 13 months.
• Cookie-consent records: for the period necessary to demonstrate and respect the visitor’s choices.

Information may be retained longer where required by law, in connection with a dispute, or when necessary to protect legal rights.

9. Security

Yukon Cloud applies reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no website, email service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law, you may request:

12. Automated decisions

Yukon Cloud does not use personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

The website and its services are intended for businesses and adults. Yukon Cloud does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the contact form.
